I'm only 2 weeks away from landing in Nairobi, where I'll be working for the next 4 months. It's incredible how aware you become of the life around you when you're doing something new and off the beaten path. I am so aware of the incredible people I know, the generosity of friends and strangers, and how lucky I am to be able to go on this journey, for myself, for the people of Kibera, and for the folks who want to help, but who may not be able to go themselves.
Dont worry, I'm taking all of you with me...
